Break the mental script of “salesperson calling.”
Step 2: Sorting Question
Ask something that identifies where they’re at — without pressure or fluff.
“Hey [Name], Yea this is just [First Name], [First Name Last Name] from Real — does that ring a bell or sound familiar?”
(Let them respond)
**“Cool — last time we chatted you mentioned [thinking about moving up / still exploring options].
Just curious — is that still the case, or has anything shifted lately?”**
Pattern Interrupt:
“Hey, I was wondering if you could help me out with something real quick?”
Sorting Questions:
1. You’re not “checking in.”
2. You’re not “just following up.”
3. You’re breaking the pattern — and creating curiosity and connection in under 15 seconds.
